The Sea Bear.
The Sea Bear lives on snow and ice He must be tough ‘cos it’s not very nice In the frozen north where nothing grows; Why he lives there no one knows. With little shelter and less to eat He’s always hungry with cold feet. No shops with fast food on the shelf He has to hunt to feed himself. So when in the arctic you take care And hope that you don’t meet a bear. He’ll see you coming but you won’t see him He’s the colour of snow and blends well in. From his snow cave hidden well The Polar Bear will sense your smell You may run, but you will find The Polar Bear not far behind. Stand and fight him? Not much fun He weighs in at half a ton. Head for the sea and jump straight in Forget it, you should see a sea bear swim. So if that bear you ever meet Just pray he’s had enough to eat Cos if he’s hungry, it’s for sure He’ll eat you up and look for more. Ursus Maritimus – sea bear, also known as white bear and ice bear. There are no penguins at the north pole, perhaps the polar bears ate them all. There are no polar bears at the south pole , hmmm do penguins eat polar bears? A Poplar bear has a blue tongue, well he is probably cold. Polar Bear liver is poisonous to humans, don’t eat polar bears whole. |
